Tripeptide-1/ Liporeductyl

This patented molecule has been clinically shown to prevent as well as remove cellulite.
In order prevent cellulite from forming, the maturation of adipocyte (fat cells) must be inhibited and the size of lipid droplets must be minimized and to remove cellulite the adipocytes must be reduced as well as reducing lipid droplets. 
Liporeductyl - when used at a 10% inclusion - as we do - performs these actions as well as having other positive effects on the skin.

Carnitine

Carnitine helps fuel mitochondrial respiratory chains with free fatty acids and adipocytes.

This ingredient is well known for enhancing triglycerides mobility and accelerating their breakdown.

Butcherbroom (Ruscus Aculeatus) Extract

It acts mainly on the microcirculation of the skin – decreasing capillary permeability and there preventing leakage from the capillaries.
It has also been clinically proven to increase circulation and also improves skin tone.

Seaweed - Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenans), Fucus Vesiculosus Extract & Laminaria digitata

All these seaweeds have a role to play in fighting cellulite. Chondrus contains iodine compounds such as TEA-Hydroiodide, which has an effective lipolytic effect by stimulating lipases.
Fucus on the other hand has an amazing hydrating effect on the skin improving the skins elasticity - and apart from the iodine compounds contained also has a most of other active compounds.
Laminaria also boosts the skin's elasticity and the minerals - including the iodine stimulates general body metabolism and increase osmotic exchanges thus eliminating excess fluids from the tissue.

Ivy (Hedera Helix) Extract

It was included, as it contains Hederin (Hederine) - an active saponin that is responsible for blood vessel protection and helps to reabsorb the edemas present in the initial stages of cellulite.
It furthermore has great anti-inflammatory and pain killing properties as well as assisting with circulatory which helps other components to be absorbed by the skin.
