Benefits of each ingredient skin rejuvenation

Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract

Chamomile is a good ingredient to reduce inflammation, irritation, skin redness and it furthermore promotes granulation and skin cell regeneration.

Achillea Millefolium Extract (Yarrow)

It has very good astringent and antibacterial properties and is great to help clear up inflammation, while helping to improve circulation. In folk medicine yarrow is used to help treat wounds and cuts.

Ononis Spinosa Root Extract (Restharrow) skin cell regeneration

This unusual herb has good diuretic, anti-viral, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, which helps to promote a smooth and even colored complexion.

Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract

The benefits of rosemary are that of having superb toning properties, increasing circulation, relieving skin congestion, reducing puffiness and swelling all working together for a firmer skin, better skin tone and a healthy-looking complexion.

Tussilago Farfara (Coltsfoot) Leaf Extract

It is used for its diuretic and astringent properties and to prevent scarring and curing skin disorders. The high mucilage content in coltsfoot's chemical composition also has a softening effect on the skin - leaving it smooth and preventing loss of moisture.

Thymus Serpillum Extract (Thyme) skin cell regeneration

The use of thyme helps with protecting the skin from any microbial problems with its antiseptic and bactericidal properties, while also being a general stimulant and tonic to improve skin health.

Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract

It contains rosmarinic acid that has good antioxidant properties, which are further reinforced by the picrosalvin also found in sage. It also has antimicrobial and antiviral properties and helps to regulate sebum (oil) production and is often used to treat skin problems, such as acne.

Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract

It has wonderful soothing and cooling properties while at the same time having anti-viral and anti-biotic properties to boost the health of the skin and acting as a general tonic as well.

Equisetum Arvense Extract (Horsetail) skin rejuvenation

It is high in vegetal silica and has good diuretic, astringent and wound healing properties, while at the same time improving circulation, as well as boosting and rejuvenating the connective tissue. Apart from this, horsetail also has a softening and smoothing effect on the skin.

Althaea Officinalis Root Extract (Marshmallow)

It has good soothing and calming properties and is ideal to use on irritated and inflamed skin, as it has good anti-inflammatory properties, which in turn helps to fight any skin degeneration, as well as cellular oxidation and also seems to boost immunity at cellular level. Furthermore, marshmallow has an inhibitory effect in hyaluronidase, which is an enzymatic action during which the hyaluronic acid and other muco-polysaccharides in the connective tissue are degraded.

This inhibition and reduction in hyaluronidase leads to improved moisture levels in the skin, as well as boosting the dermal structure and improving wound healing processes, while at the same time reducing skin aging and diminishing inflammation.
