Our Problem Skin Toner contains Salicylic acid

When skin problems appear – like acne, pimples and spots, you need to follow a treatment that will not cause any other problems – like dry, blotchy, irritated, inflamed, sensitive and sore skin. Our Problem Skin Toner is part of such a treatment program and should be part of your daily skin care routine.

General information toner Salicylic acid

While attending to skin problems, you need to take care not to upset the natural pH of your skin (the acid mantle), as this acid mantle is a protective feature of the skin that helps prevent skin infections. All our products are formulated to be pH balanced and will therefore not upset the pH or acid mantle of your skin.

Our Problem Skin toner contains a variety of ingredients including Salicylic acid, Witch hazel, Zinc, Chamomile, Dragon’s blood, Horse chestnut extract, Green tea extract, Centella asiatica extract and Silk Amino Acids.

Each of these ingredients work towards sorting out a variety of problems such as calming a sensitive and irritated skin, balancing skin oil production, reducing inflammation and fighting skin problems such as acne and pimples.

When formulating the toner, the researchers combined all the ingredients to work in synergy and to boost each other’s action.

Our Problem Skin Toner is not only a facial astringent, but will boost the health of your skin while helping to sort out skin problems and help create a smooth, healthy and vital looking complexion.

Action and benefits of Salicylic acid toner Salicylic acid

We included Salicylic acid into our formulation, since it specifically looks after sorting out some problems. To summarize:

This ingredient is included in our range of products as it contains beta hydroxy acids, which gently exfoliates the skin and cleans within the pores, preventing the formation of blackheads, whiteheads, spots, zits and pimples. This bio-available ingredient is obtained from willow bark, making it a natural anti-septic and antifungal agent to use for sloughing off dead skin cells.
